I’ve no idea how many of them I made during the last couple of days. But here all those flags fit in quite well.
Baron Munchausen: Prince Aydin
The room of prince Aydin, son of Catherine’s arch-enemy, the sultan of the Ottoman Empire. Realised in the interiors of Amerang Castle, the set is a team work of the whole art department. I contributed all those artefacts that show Aydins affection for aeronautics. Much love and effort went in those details, because they are an excellent way to co-narrate a part of the character Aydin.
Ludwigsburg as Saint Petersburg
With the Munchausen-project in Catherine the Great’s castle in Saint Petersburg. Well, actually it’s Ludwigsburg Castle which stands in for the Saint Petersburg interiour shots.
It’s so unbelievably cold – even indoors. The flower arrangements on the tables didn’t make it over night. All frozen.
